Pria
This is Pria, our pet dog. She was originally a guide dog puppy, but was dropped from the program because she has very minor hip dysplasia. Good thing she loves to swim, because it’s great for her hips! She loves to swim so much she will (and has) jumped in the pool in January when it’s 40 degrees. In the summer she spends hours a day in the pool swimming laps.

Maylita + Koru
My family has raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind since 1994. Maylita was a puppy my mom took for a few months when the original raiser could no longer care for her. Maylita was 5 months old when these pictures were taken, Koru and Maylita were the same length from nose to tail! Maylita went to live with another raiser right before Xmas. She was such a sweetheart, I hope she becomes a guide!

Christmas in Kansas 2009
We had a blizzard in Kansas on Christmas Eve 2009. The weather totally messed up people’s holiday plans, but it was great photographically!!

koru + 2′x3′ piece of packaging paper
I received a box that used brown sheets of packing paper as padding. At first the sheet was all crumpled, so he would pounce at it, and hide behind it. It gradually flattened out from Koru laying on the sheet. He now sleeps on top of it, and hides most of his body under it. He has figured out how to turn around under the paper without anything but his tail peaking out. He likes to hide under the paper, and then attack me as I walk by.

kristin + corey
I’ve known Kristin & Corey since junior high/high school, we met thru 4H. Kristin & I both raised Guide Dog puppies, we met when I moved to Davis in 1997. I met Corey during our 4H All Star Interview Process. All three of us were Yolo County 4H All Stars. They have been dating for 8 years, and will be getting married next year on their 9th year anniversary! Here’s a sneak peek of the session we did today.

Tamee,
We were sorry to miss your wedding. Johny & Faye said it was wonderful. I hope you and Ben were able to relax and enjoy it too. (Ha!)
My kids downloaded your site last night and I just now looked at this page. Wow! I love the photos of the farm. Makes me “homesick” to see it. (It’s been 10 years since we were last able to visit. The time has flown.) Thanks for posting these gorgeous shots. You do very nice work!
Best of wishes to you and Ben as you begin wedded life.
Your cousin-in-law,
Julia
